Turkey Burgers

Usually I’m taking hubby’s and Oliver’s words on the meat dishes but this one had six great reviews at a recent lunch date… even better! 

Since we have red meat around only occasionally, I’m really not opposed to a made-with-hamburg hamburger.  But if you can cut a few calories and still have a great-tasting burger, why not switch it up now and then?

3 pounds ground turkey

1/4 cup bread crumbs (seasoned or not)

1/4 cup onion, finely diced

1/4 cup bell pepper, finely diced

2 egg whites, lightly beaten

1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

2 Tbsp soy sauce

2 tsp worcestershire sauce

1 clove garlic, peeled and minced

1 tsp seasoning salt (or regular)

1/4 tsp ground black pepper


Mix everything in a large bowl.  Form into patties.
