Growing Out On A Limb

St Margaret’s Bay Trail in winter

It seems like it has been a long winter but a few weeks ago it started warming up and was easier to get outside and enjoy the snow and sunshine.  Yup, I said ‘enjoy’… we love winter.  And why not?  We can’t change the weather (we do, after all, live in eastern Canada), so why dwell in negativity and complain about it when you can spend the afternoon outside in the beautiful, warm sunshine and make fun memories with the kids?

A few weeks ago I took the kids to the St Margaret’s Bay trail just down the road for a little walk.  It is well used, which is nice to see … we saw a couple of wheelers, a ski-doo, and cross-country skiers.

Enjoy the winter!  rga
