Growing Out On A Limb

Santa Craft

Oliver hasn’t figured out scissors and I don’t think he really gets glue (nor does mommy really want him handling it yet) so when I’m thinking up crafts to do with him I am very much involved and have to stick with things he can color, paint, glitter, etc.  And that’s fine, it just means that I need to have everything prepped before we sit down so all the pieces are laid out in front of him.

This was just a simple, classic craft that we did on the weekend.  Oliver has been pretty taken by the idea of Santa so we made one of our own.

He hangs in the dining room window so we can see him every time we sit down to eat.  Oliver notices and mentions him almost daily.

I think we’ll try a similar snowman craft next but note to self:  stuff does not stick well to those shiny paper plates!
