Growing Out On A Limb

Emery and his toe

Can you do that?  Me neither.  He gets his big toe in his mouth like it’s his thumb and sucks away.  It’s so cute!

I don’t remember Oliver being as squirmy and mobile at this stage.  And it seems sudden too:  one day he was just laying there, rolling over now and then, and the next day he’s pulling himself forward.  Yes, pulling himself forward!  He’ll definitely be an early walker like his big brother.

He’ll be starting solids in a couple of weeks … fun!  I’m trying to decide what the perfect first food is.  Definitely not toe.
